SEWA BEATS NEWS

After 10 years of developing, we are delighted to announce the launch of Sewa Beats in North America.

It is a great honour for Sewa Beats that the great Mandingo master drummer and legendary teacher has agreed to become a patron of the company.

Sewa Beats have added to their repertoire a motivational programme of Body Percussion, specially designed for these times of economic turbulence and fewer resources.

Sewa Beats offers ‘an innovative way of developing leadership' - a new way to design and deliver effective executive learning.

The WEF's prestigious Global Leadership Fellows Programme trains future leaders of the world's leading public and private institutions.

Oracle continues to rely on Sewa Beats to open its Oracle Partner Network days.

Do You Speak Djembe (DYSD)?

DYSD is an exclusive collaboration between Philippe Fournier, who leads the Orchestre Symphonique Lyonnais (OSL), and Sewa Beats. In this unique initiative we create a synergy between two different cultures by combining western classical music with traditional African music, while at the same time providing an environment for participants to actively accompany these professional musicians on their musical journey. Ideal for mergers and acquisitions, this offering serves as a solid experiential platform to promote team building and organisational development.

Philippe Fournier is a distinguished conductor with extensive experience of working with organisations, focusing on issues such as leadership and team working. His experience of leading a symphonic orchestra gives him a unique and practical insight into these issues.

Seckou Keita and his Quartet

The renowned African musician Seckou Keita and his Quartet can provide an unforgettable interlude of African music before or after your session with us.

Rhythmic Integration with Harvey Burns

Harvey Burns has been drumming for over 40 years and has composed and played with artists such as Cat Stevens and Georgie Fame.

For the last 23 years he has been working as a rolfer®, body-therapist and movement teacher. Through a series of experiments, experiences and explorations, he has discovered how rhythm and movement have a powerful impact on physical integration, psychological well-being and group coherence.

Collaborating with the Sewa Beats team he helps participants deepen their experience of rhythm, and better connect with themselves and with their communities.

Mamady Keita as Conference Speaker

Sewa Beats presents legendary African master drummer and teacher Mamady Keita as a Conference Speaker. Organisations wanting to make universal values a priority at their conference have the opportunity to invite Mamady Keita as an inspirational speaker. Drawing from his deep understanding of ancient African culture and wisdom, he will share insights into how organisations can create and sustain a culture that promotes tolerance, understanding and inclusiveness.
